What we look for in a featured business
Every request is reviewed against the same standards. Meeting them does not guarantee a feature, and no fee is charged unless we agree to move ahead.
A Wayne County connection
Located here, serving our communities, or a nearby business residents visit. Locally owned franchises are considered individually, too.
6 to 12 months in business
Long enough to have a real customer history to talk about. Newer businesses can start with a free Basic listing and revisit a feature later.
In good standing
Properly registered and licensed for the work you do, with no active suspensions or open regulatory actions.
A solid public reputation
We review public information such as online reviews and complaint records. A pattern of unresolved complaints may delay or prevent a feature.
A short conversation first
Before anything is booked or paid, we have a brief call with the owner to hear the story and check the fit.
Editorial independence
A paid package covers production time. It does not buy positive coverage, and our team keeps final say over what is published.
