Dennis is a Richmond tech entrepreneur and the founder of Wayne County Networking, a free, referral-focused community for small businesses across Richmond, Winchester, Liberty and the rest of the county. He has spent more than six years coordinating city and county-wide events, including gatherings that reached 7,000 people and more.

Through Instant Web Tools, he helps small businesses, nonprofits and local organizations get found online with web design, local SEO and digital marketing, and manages more than 150 client websites. He and his wife Emily also co-founded Kingdom Legacy Ministries, which supports feeding programs, education and job creation in Cebu, Philippines.

Our area

About Wayne County, Indiana

Wayne County sits on Indiana's eastern edge, right on the Ohio line. The old National Road, now U.S. 40, runs straight through it, and towns grew up along that road as travelers headed west. You can still see it in the brick downtowns, the antique shops and the family businesses that have been around for generations.

Richmond is the county seat and its biggest city. It's known as the Cradle of Recorded Jazz, because early records by artists like Louis Armstrong and Hoagy Carmichael were made at the Gennett studio there. Quaker settlers left a deep mark on the area too. Earlham College is still in Richmond, and the Levi Coffin House in Fountain City tells the story of the Underground Railroad.

Outside the city, it's farmland, small towns and quiet back roads, tied together by the Cardinal Greenway trail. People here still shop local, know their neighbors and show up for each other. Those are the people and businesses we want you to know.
